Font size A-A+Opened on 13 July, the Museum of Human Evolution is an initiative of the Regional Government of Castile and Leon keyed to disseminating knowledge about human evolution gleaned from archaeological finds and scientific studies.
With four floors, the museum not only includes original fossils from Atapuerca, but also highlights Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, the brain related research of Ramon y Cajal and the chief stages of evolution – with humanoids courtesy of the Parisian Elisabeth Daynès – using different museological techniques.

SONO’s participation in this project involved designing the audiovisual systems and installing equipment. To this end, different types of technology were used, featuring the following: over 25 large format projections; more than 50 video sources; circular projection; equipment automation and control; special effects synchronization; cutting-edge interactive tools; LED, LCD, DLP, Watch Out, and CRESTRON technology; and multichannel sound systems.
